Long ago, the land was in chaos, innocent people were dying, villages falling, and even the land itself seemed shrouded in darkness. Seven ninja were chosen, each willing to die for their village. Together, these ninja forged seven stones of great power. The power of the stones was never told, only witnessed by those around, but by using the stones, these seven ninja stopped the wars, death, and all the hell that broke loose.
It was granted that the stones together could bring the land into darkness as it once had, so it was decided the stones would be seperated, so they would never be reunited, so the land would forever remain in peace. Each village was given a stone. Handed down to only the most trusted ninja who would willingly give their life to ensure the stone would never be stolen. With this, the land was at peace, and eventually, as the land changed, the stones moved.
Stones:
Konohagakure: Ruby
Sunagakure: Quartz
Kirigakure: Sapphire
Kumogakure: Citrine
Iwagakure:Tourmaline
Otogakure: Tnaznaite
Hoshigakure: Emerald

To the Stables We Go « Thread Started on May 30, 2007, 8:50pm »
A very exhausted Ferrus trotted through the rather small town atop his loyal steed, Kemuri. He was headed towards the stables, of course. The lovely setting sun failed to cheer the chunnin the slightest.
Lime eyes flashed aggressively as he passed through the streets, he was so very tired and the bruise on his chest wasn't helping that. Glaring over his shoulder at Thrasymichus he made an obvious protest through the deathly glare in his eyes(Which, by the way, he had had a lot of time to perfect).

Thrasymachus, who was no where near as exhaused as Ferrus was, jogged behind him on his chestnut horse. As he rode, he thought about how difficult Ferrus's jutsu must be. He didn't quite understand it. Why would you want to use such a dangerous and difficult jutus, when there were plenty of other safer jutsus that can be very effective in he right hands? "You'd benefit from a trip to the hot springs, wouldn't you?". Thrasymachus shouted to Ferrus, rythmically rising just a little from the saddle with each trotting stride.

"I'm fine." the chunnin spat back, though the sound of washing away his troubles in the hot spring didn't sound too bad. Once they had entered the barn, Ferrus almost glided for his ashy gray mare. He led her over to her usual stall and slipped off her tack.

The chuunin shook his head. He wondered how he even put up with Ferrus through all of his Genin and early Chuunin training. He then halted outiside of the stable, dismounted, and stroked Aquila's neck. He then loosened the girth and the equine let out a relieved sigh. Thrasymachus then led the gelding into the barn. Slipping off the saddle and bridle, he said to Ferrus, "If you're fine, than why is your chest black and blue? And don't forget to clean off your tack... it'll last longer that way.".

Ferrus tensed and growled quietly. "I'm fine." he repeated stiffly. The silver haired chuunin grabbed his tack and began to clean it. He focussed all his attention on cleaning off his tack, as if doing so would make him forget all his troubles, and somehow cure his anger issues that he had been cursed with at birth. An unlikely fantasy, but it wouldn't help to try. "I'm fed up with this place, I'm fed up with everyone in this place. I wonder what it would be like to..." the teen's thoughts trailed off.

Thrasymachus narrowed his eyes at the insolent Chuunin. Putting up his saddle and bridle, he turned and grunted, "Leaving," to his silver haired comrade. He then turned and walked out of the stable, his feet making crunching noises on the fine gravel. The setting sun cast warm rays on the foreigner's face as he departed from the stables and headed home. Thrasymachus didn't even look back to see if Ferrus was following him.

Ferrus stayed crouched for a bit longer, letting his thoughts wander off so he might calm himself. Once he had become relitively calm he pushed himself off the ground and followed with his head down and his feet dragging.
